Prasanna (Pras) Krishnan

Prasanna (Pras) Krishnan is a solar energy engineer who has served in the renewables industry for nearly 20 years. He has worked on 25+ GW of primarily solar + storage projects in technical leadership roles at independent power producers, engineering & construction providers, and consultancies. His expertise is in the intersection of developing and operating renewable projects, clean technology commercialization, and operational efficiency. He is the principal of Surya Energy Consulting, an established boutique consultancy which helps investors, insurers and asset owners de-risk technical aspects of their projects and optimize the deployment of capital for the energy transition. He is also associated with the Clean Energy Research Group at SFU.

Josie Ward

A project coordinator at the Canadian Centre for the Study of Co-operatives. At the University of Saskatchewan, her research focused on leveraging renewable energy projects as mechanisms for community development.

Robert Godin

Co-Lead of the Solar Energy for Net Zero Research Excellence Cluster at UBC Okanagan. Dr. Godin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and leads the Solar Energy Conversion and Spectroscopy group.
